History:	Lake Como Italian woven tapestry features an iconic scene of Italy's famous Lake Como set in the 18th century. Italy’s Lake Como takes up the expansive vista to your left. A stone path through the lovely gardens leads to a viewpoint beyond. To the right is the Renaissance styled temple that is part of the villa’s gardens and grounds. This is a delight of peace, beauty and tranquility. The artist, who’s incorrectly said to be Francois Boucher but is actually unknown, has captured the scene brilliantly. The work was based on three paintings from the 17th century but is a true work of art all its own.
