History: Le point d'eau, or the Water Point, is a tapestry reproduction of the artwork of Albert Eckhout, 17th century artist. This wall tapestry is based on the famous Tentur des Indes set of 8 tapestries woven at the Gobelins during the 18th century representing the exotic flora, fauna and natives of the Dutch colonies.
